Service
Confidence before you commit to a major cardiac decision.
Overview
Before a stent, a valve procedure, or a long-term medication commitment, it is reasonable to want a second read. A second opinion consultation is a full independent review of your records, imaging, and proposed plan.
You receive a written summary in plain language covering what the evidence supports, what the alternatives are, and where Dr. Caldwell agrees or differs from the original recommendation.
Your Pathway
No surprises — this is the sequence every patient follows for this service.
Upload imaging, reports, and letters securely through the Patient Portal.
Studies are re-read before the consultation, not during it.
A full appointment to walk through findings and options, with time for questions.
A report you can keep and share with your existing physician.
Questions
Only with your permission. Many patients ask us to share the summary directly, but the consultation is confidential and entirely yours to control.
Echo and angiogram reports, any cardiac imaging, recent bloodwork, discharge summaries, and your current medication list. Upload what you have — we will ask if anything is missing.
Second opinion consultations are typically scheduled within five business days, and sooner when a procedure is already booked.
Book a consultation and upload any prior results beforehand so your first visit starts with the full picture.
